ProbablyMonsters has pulled back the curtain on two of its most intriguing upcoming projects, confirming release plans for both the gothic action-RPG Crimson Moon and the grindhouse-inspired action thriller Nekome: Nazi Hunter. Fresh from hands-on previews at Summer Game Fest Play Days, the studio has now revealed that Crimson Moon will arrive in September 2026, while Nekome: Nazi Hunter is targeting an early 2027 launch.
Although the two games couldn’t be more different in style and setting, they share a common goal – delivering focused, cinematic experiences that blend AA development with big-budget ambition.

Crimson Moon Brings Gothic Carnage To Co-Op RPG Fans
Of the two, Crimson Moon is the one players will get their hands on first.
Set within the besieged city of Gildenarch, the game combines Gothic High Renaissance aesthetics with action-RPG combat, placing players in the role of powerful angelic warriors known as Nephilim. The focus is on intense combat encounters, character progression and highly replayable missions.
While solo players can tackle the adventure alone, Crimson Moon has been built with co-op in mind. Bringing a friend into battle unlocks powerful synergies between characters, allowing teams to combine abilities and unleash devastating attacks against hordes of monstrous enemies.
The newly released trailer showcases an impressive variety of weapons, armour sets, abilities and grotesque foes, all wrapped in a world heavily inspired by gothic horror, classic fantasy and heavy metal influences.
Discussing the project, Game Director David Lesperance said: “Crimson Moon is inspired by the team’s love of classic fantasy, gothic horror, and metal music, all funneled into one epic action-adventure RPG, and we built it so friends can experience it together. With our release date around the corner in September, players won’t have to wait long to embody the Nephilim and start their journey alone or with their best head-banging buddy through demon-infested streets and towering cathedrals.“
A Brutal Path Of Revenge In Nekome: Nazi Hunter
If Crimson Moon embraces fantasy spectacle, Nekome: Nazi Hunter heads in a far darker direction.
Set during the Second World War, the game follows Vano Nastasu, a relentless one-man force seeking revenge against a group of Nazi soldiers known as Hitler’s Hyenas, responsible for the murder of his family.
Beginning in New York before moving into occupied Europe, players will scout enemy territory, plan attacks and execute carefully orchestrated assaults using a mixture of stealth, close-quarters combat and tactical violence.
The newly released trailer highlights the game’s grindhouse inspirations, presenting a gritty, cinematic revenge story filled with brutal encounters and stylish action sequences.
The project is being led by industry veteran Jeronimo Barrera, who believes the game’s combat systems will be a major draw for players. “It’s a gift to be working with such a talented team to bring Vano’s thrilling, cinematic, and propulsive tale of revenge to life. Nekome: Nazi Hunter is designed around meaningful combat and the strategic orchestration of violence, and we can’t wait to unleash players when the game releases in early 2027.“

ProbablyMonsters describes both games as examples of its approach to creating handcrafted experiences with strong world-building and cinematic presentation.
While Crimson Moon leans into co-operative demon-slaying action and fantasy progression systems, Nekome: Nazi Hunter offers a more grounded and personal tale built around stealth, revenge and carefully planned combat.
Players won’t have to wait too much longer to see the first result, with Crimson Moon arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store this September. Nekome: Nazi Hunter will follow on the same platforms in early 2027.
