crosscode a new home dlc

The retro-inspired RPG CrossCode impressed us last year with its sheer ambition to bring together a lot of great ideas. The folks at Deck13 look to add to the experience with the announcement of the first official piece of DLC in the form of A New Home. You can expect to see A New Home arrive for CrossCode on PC in February, while console gamers must wait a little longer until the summer to get involved.

On 26th February, the fortunate people in the PC realm will be able to purchase A New Home, which expands the story of CrossCode even further. The additional narrative starts right after the events of the main game, and essentially it allows you the opportunity to finally figure out what happened to Lea and all the other beloved characters. You see, the time has come to once and for all finish the raid. And as seen in the fresh new trailer, the lengthy DLC includes lots and lots of new puzzles, enemies and story snippets.

Here’s a list of the key features for A New Home:

  • Fresh Content which will entertain players for about 8 – 10 hours
  • The biggest dungeon in the history of CrossCode
  • New challenging enemies and boss fights
  • New music tracks
  • And of course: The final chapter of the Raid

The CrossCode: A New Home content will drop on Steam and GOG on the 26th February. For those who prefer to play on console, it’s scheduled to launch at some stage in the summer for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. And if you haven’t given it a go yet, CrossCode is currently available via Xbox Game Pass – so, as long as you possess a subscription, it’s risk-free and we’d actively encourage it.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
