It’s been an age since Cuphead burst onto the scene, with years having passed since Studio MDHR threw the highly unique hard-as-nails shooter to the masses. Now though, finally, we get news in regards the long-awaited expansion – Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course.
Coming to the gaming masses on June 30th 2022, Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course is the game’s long-awaited expansion featuring the all-new playable character Ms. Chalice. At The Game Awards, Studio MDHR revealed some never-before-seen footage of some of the game’s screen-filling new bosses, as the hand-crafted marionette trailer revealed the game’s highly anticipated release date: June 30th, 2022.
At release, this second helping of Cuphead adventure will be available everywhere the current game can be found: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and GOG. In Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course, stalwart brothers Cuphead and Mugman are joined by the clever, adventurous Ms. Chalice – known to fans of the original as the wise Legendary Chalice – for a rollicking adventure on a previously undiscovered Inkwell Isle! With the aid of new weapons, magical charms, and Ms. Chalice’s unique abilities, players will take on a new cast of fearsome, larger than life bosses to assist the jolly Chef Saltbaker in Cuphead’s final challenging quest!

There are individual phases of bosses in The Delicious Last Course that contain more frames of animation than entire bosses in the original Cuphead, and we think fans and newcomers alike will really appreciate the depth and detail on display!”
Cuphead : The Delicious Last Course features will include:
- Featuring Ms. Chalice as a brand new playable character with a modified moveset and new abilities. Once acquired, Ms. Chalice is fully playable through the DLC and the original Cuphead adventure!
- Traverse a brand new Inkwell Isle and wallop the most wacky and monstrous bosses Cuphead has faced yet!
- Find new weapons and charms to aid you in overcoming brand new challenges and setting new records on old bosses!
- Help Chef Saltbaker on a brand new adventure to uncover the mystery of Legendary Chalice’s secret quest!
