Stick the words ‘award-winning game’ on to a press release and we instantly get excited. Thankfully Curve Digital have done just that with the announcement that they’ll be bringing Fiddlesticks’ title ‘Hue’ to our consoles.
Releasing on Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PC and Wii U, Hue has become a big hit on the indie expo scene, picking up numerous awards along the way. Following the story of a young boy, ‘Hue’, whose mother becomes trapped in the mono world. After gaining access to the colour ring – a device which allows him to alter the perception of colour, he embarks on a mission to foil the evil intentions of the despicable Doctor Gray.
You’ll need to use colour to manipulate the environment, revealing hidden routes, avoiding threats, removing hazards and defeating adversaries along the way.
You can check out some of the initial gameplay below…all signs are that Hue should be pretty decent.
We’ll bring you more as further details, and a confirmed release date, drop. For now though, Q1 2016 is about as good as we are going to get.
