cyberpunk 2077

Everybody was ready for Cyberpunk 2077, and it ended up becoming a big disappointment. The main problems were endless bugs, abrupt crashes, and a concise storyline. Most people complained of poor console performance. CD Projekt Red, the Cyberpunk 2077’s developer, was facing a lawsuit. All these things combined caused the game to fail. There is good news, though. The company recently said that Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.2 Patch is finally ready now. It is currently out on all platforms, including Xbox, Playstation, and PC. The company’s announcement entails a massive list of changes. The 1.2 change list entails hundreds of new things, including various changes.

They have indicated that many more changes are around the corner at the bottom of the vast list. This is great news to every gambling fan who had switched from favourite slot machines to play Cyberpunk 2077 when it came out but got disappointed. The best way to see every single bullet point on the list is to visit the Cyberpunk 2077 site now. According to CD Projekt Red, the Patch 1.2 list took a long time to come out than anticipated. It was hoped that it could come out in February 2021. It went on to explain that the developmental delay was a result of a cyberattack that the company had suffered.

Patch 1.2 is expected to eliminate several issues being faced by users of the last generation consoles PS4 and Xbox One. The updates concerning this game are not over yet, as CDPR promised to release yet another patch by the second term of the year. This will target the next-generation consoles. So the big question is whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will be placed on the PS store again. Remember that it has been unlisted for over one hundred days. So far, there is no comment on that from Sony or the game developer itself. Passionate gamblers who are looking forward not only to new releases of slots, which they can play at ggbet, but also to trying this game just have to wait and see if it will be put on sale on the PS store.

Main updates in Patch 1.2 right now

As earlier hinted, Patch 1.2 is in the form of a huge list. New changes are arranged in bullets and separated into categories. Thus, under each category, there is a long list of new changes. The list is available on the Cyberpunk 2077 website. To demonstrate this, we will describe the main categories separately and outline the rest. Later on, make sure you read the list for yourself.  So, here are the main categories and a brief description of the items in them.

  • Gameplay

There are close to eighty changes under gameplay only. This shows the company’s commitment to improving the user experience. Some changes are minor, and others are major. Keyboard users will enjoy the new Steering Sensitivity slider in their Control settings. It will help reduce the steering speed for all autos. For base consoles, the vehicle steering code was corrected to work flawlessly in low and extremely high frame rates. Performing Gorilla Arms finishers against a civilian is ended. A lot of issues that made gameplay difficult and tedious are now fixed. To see all changes, visit Cyberpunk 2077 website.

  • Quests

This part is even longer than the Gameplay. CD Projekt Red made over 120 changes under Quests alone. The official website shows this section of the list, and you can read it there. The Pickup feature saw major improvements, for instance. Now it can no longer get obstructed if Dum Dum loses its life the moment the last enemy dies. It still doesn’t get blocked when a player hits Maelstrom before getting inside All Foods. Characters in the Cyberpunk 2077 game also underwent adjustments. For instance, the developer fixed a problem where V could remain stuck in Rogue’s booth in Ghost Town. They also solved where Mr Hands wouldn’t call V right after completing Double life. If a player reloaded the game in the last discussion in Gun Music, Tendy Carol and Cassidy would do their movements again. This was fixed too. In All Along the Watchtower, Panam can properly utter her final dialogue line, thanks to the new adjustment.

  • Open World

This category has a little over 30 fixes. Though few, the issues they fixed here are super important. For instance, after loading a save, you will notice that destructible will not become indestructible again. The collisions will keep on streaming at random during driving to prevent V from driving into buildings. The part includes a lot of “in Gig” fixes. You should read it to understand how the new fixes will improve the Open World part of the game.

  • Cinematic Design

With more than eighty bullet points to read, this part of the Patch 1.2 update is lengthy. However, the important thing is that the changes in this category were meant to enhance the overall cinematic design of the game. For instance, if a player decides to visit the Down on the street alone, Takemura will not teleport to Wakako. Moreover, if a player reached Wakako before Takemura arrived in Down on the street, nothing would block progression. This was not the case before Jackie would disappear when getting in the elevator shortly after a fair deal with Maelstroms in the Pickup. Now she will not do that. When leading V to Royce in the Second Conflict, Dum Dum will not walk on Air anymore. Several other changes were made.

Other Categories

The Patch 1.2 updates cover a few other categories. These include the following:

  • Environment and levels with 24 fixed issues
  • Graphics, Audio, and Animation with up to 37 fixes
  • UI featuring 61 fixes
  • Stability and Performance. The fixes listed under this are specific ones that will be on all platforms but will majorly benefit the users of last-generation consoles. They will also benefit users of lower-performance devices.
  • Miscellaneous fixes are only 19
  • The PC-specific section has 11 fixes
  • Console-specific has 21 fixes.

There is no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 had a lot of problems. The long list of corrected areas is enough evidence. The latest update in the form of Patch 1.2 will probably help the CD Projekt Red improve its reputation and restore its lost glory. With all these fixes, you can expect that gameplay will be better than before. So are you ready to play Cyberpunk 2077 all over again?
