Dash and Roll is magic in motion

Think of EpiXR Games and you’ll think of Aery and of Life of Fly; you may also consider their Tanky Tanks series. Occasionally, EpiXR go mad and push out a whole other gaming experience – like they are doing today with the release of Dash and Roll on Xbox. 

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Dash and Roll. As you may suspect from the name, you’re left to dash, and to roll, all in order to get to the end of a series of stages and uncover some magical adventure in the process. 

Dash or Roll?

It’s priced at £8.39 and feels very much like a cheaper version of Marble It Up! Ultra, maybe even a Super Monkey Ball affair. If you liked those games – or ay game in which you can ‘roll’ – then you’d do well to hit up the Xbox Store and consider a download. 

We’ll look to run a review of Dash and Roll (or should that be Dash & Roll?) very soon, but visually this looks like EpiXR are taking what they know and implementing a new take on things. That means it could go one of two ways and we’re not half hoping that it veers into the positive. 

Should it be a magical marble adventure you are looking to enjoy, the low price point and ease of use means Roll and Dash should be on your list. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download, no matter whether you play it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
