DC Universe Online makes a splash with the new Atlantis expansion on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

-

Those of you still fighting alongside the iconic characters of DC Comics in the action-packed, free-to-play DC Universe Online will notice that there’s a brand new underwater world to explore. It’s time to embrace Aquaman’s kingdom, Atlantis, and all that this latest expansion entails!

The focus in the Atlantis episode is on Corum Rath, who has set his sights on the throne and has plotted a rebellion with his Deluge conspirators, culminating in a battle for the Crown of Thorns. You’ll need to do everything you can to assist the underground resistance in Atlantis to have any chance of saving the kingdom in these dark times. There are daily and weekly Open World missions in Atlantis, a new Solo one and a four player Alert operation, as well as two new raids in normal and elite forms.

Throughout the missions and raids, you can team up with the likes of Aquaman, Mera, Ocean Master, Aqualad and even the beasty King Shark. All sorts of feats, gear and artifacts can be earned along the way too, whilst there are new collections to discover. The gear itself is inspired by Aqualad and Corum Rath, ensuring it’s a must have for their adoring fans.

To take part in the events going on in Atlantis, your level must be 10 and above, so once you’ve achieved that you’ll be able to enjoy all it has to offer for free – as long as you’re a member, of course. There’s nothing stopping you from taking a swim in the Kingdom of Atlantis, which has altered lighting and combat to ensure it feels like a fully submerged environment. Just load up DC Universe right now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC, and sink some time into the beautiful world of Atlantis.
