Dropped at The Game Awards 2014, the debut gameplay trailer for King’s Quest can be seen below, showing off the reimagining of core characters and familiar storylines of King Graham’s early journeys. The legend has very nearly returned!
The Game Awards also saw series creator Roberta Williams receive high honours alongside her husband and fellow Sierra co-founder, Ken Williams in a ceremony that looked back on the long legacy of both King’s Quest and Sierra. The duo received the Industry Icon Award to celebrate their contributions to video game culture and creativity….seems kind of fitting really doesn’t it?
King’s Quest is due for an Autumn 2015 release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
