This isn’t the first time Deer & Boy has appeared on our radar either. We first covered the game back in 2025 when it was announced as a heartfelt and poetic adventure centred around the bond between a boy and a deer.
Now, with the full release finally here, we’ve also had the opportunity to review the finished game.
Awarding Deer & Boy a 3.5/5 score, our review praised its presentation and accessibility, noting: “I feel like almost everyone who starts Deer & Boy will finish it. Presentationally, it’s incredibly appealing, and the Deer is so cute that it’s almost sickening.“
