Airborne Justice – flying onto console

It’s time to take to the skies and unleash some incredible firepower in a brand-new, retro-inspired pixel shooter that has just landed on console.

An arcade sky battle experience built for one or two players, Airborne Justice from developer SEEP and the prolific publisher Ratalaika Games is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch for the incredibly low price of just £4.99.

Prepare to manoeuvre through the clouds, shoot down imposing bosses, and unlock a host of additional game modes in this classic arcade experience.

Meet the Pilots: Rock and Stan

At the heart of Airborne Justice are the two pilot protagonists, Rock and Stan. You can join them on their mission to take down the enemy air force either solo, or by teaming up with a friend in two-player local co-op.

This is a game of pure, arcade action. You will take control of a military helicopter capable of rapid fire, harnessing incredible firepower to take on your foes. You’ll need to obtain devastating new weapons and bombs to shoot your way through five intense levels of the enemy air force, each culminating in a battle against a huge and imposing boss.

The fun doesn’t stop once you’ve completed the main story. As you play, you can unlock three extra gameplay modes, adding a host of new challenges and replayability to the experience.

Another Retro Blast from Ratalaika

Publisher Ratalaika Games continues its mission to bring a massive variety of budget-friendly indie titles to console players.

The retro shooting of Airborne Justice joins a huge and diverse library that has recently included the deep Boys’ Love visual novel Monstrous Lovers and the charming feline puzzler Cat Needs.

Your Flight Plan

Here’s what you can expect from this new arcade sky battle:

  • Retro-Inspired Pixel Shooter: An arcade experience with classic visuals.
  • Single Player or Co-op Multiplayer: Take on the mission alone or with a friend.
  • Five Challenging Levels: Battle your way through the enemy air force.
  • Huge Boss Battles: Face off against imposing bosses at the end of each level.
  • Unlock 3 Extra Gameplay Modes.

The enemy is waiting and the skies need a hero. If you’re a fan of classic, co-operative arcade shooters, Airborne Justice is ready for you on the Xbox Store right now, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

If you prefer, there are PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions too. It’s time to become an ace fighter pilot!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
