Delta Force – new season kicks in

The airspace has been breached, and a massive new operation is underway in Delta Force Season Aharash.

Team Jade officially launches Season Ahsarah, the latest major content update for their free-to-play tactical shooter, Delta Force.

The new season is invading servers today for all players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile.

This huge new season brings a wave of fresh tactical options, including a brand-new large-scale Warfare map, a tech-savvy new Engineer Operator, and significant updates to the game’s Operations mode, alongside key improvements for console players.

A New Theatre of War: Welcome to Monument

The headline addition for Warfare fans is the introduction of Monument, a sprawling new large-scale map designed for all-out tactical combat.

Set amongst exotic locales, Monument is built to offer diverse combat scenarios. Players will need to master dynamic flanking routes and fight for control over various points of interest.

Whether you prefer close-quarters engagements or long-range sniper duels, this new battlefield promises to test your squad’s coordination and adaptability.

Meet Gizmo: The Tech-Savvy Engineer

Reinforcements have arrived in the form of Gizmo, the newest Engineer Operator to join the Delta Force roster. Gizmo brings a unique and inventive loadout to the field, designed to control the flow of battle with advanced technology.

A Unique Tactical Loadout

While full details on his kit are best discovered in-game, Gizmo is described as bringing inventive new strategies to the fight. His gadgets and abilities are tailored to support his team and disrupt enemy plans, making him a valuable asset for any squad looking to lock down objectives or breach heavily defended positions.

Operations Expansion: Zero Dam – Sinkpoint

The extraction-based Operations mode is receiving a major expansion with the Zero Dam – Sinkpoint update.

Players can now explore an all-new flooded area within the Zero Dam map. This treacherous environment brings new challenges, including a reworked boss fight that will demand fresh tactics to overcome.

You’ll also want to brave the floodwaters to uncover additional loot and enjoy smoother extraction gameplay. Season Ahsarah also introduces six new Hot Zone maps and the Relink Neo device, an in-world tool that offers enhanced narrative threads, bonus loot, and deeper exploration rewards for those willing to search for them.

Console Refinements and Crossplay

Team Jade is continuing to refine the console experience with this update. Xbox Series X|S players can now enjoy console-only crossplay, ensuring a fair and balanced playing field.

Additionally, full mouse and keyboard support has been added for those who prefer PC-style controls on their console. If you have the likes of Razer’s Turret, you should be well sorted.

Other quality-of-life updates, such as auto batch loot in Operations, further align the console gameplay with PC standards.

Season Ahsarah Highlights

  • New Warfare Map: Monument – A large-scale map with dynamic routes.
  • New Operator: Gizmo – An Engineer with inventive tactical gadgets.
  • Operations Update: Zero Dam – Sinkpoint features flooded areas and a reworked boss.
  • New Gear: Six new Hot Zone maps and the Relink Neo exploration tool.
  • Console Features: Console-only crossplay and mouse & keyboard support.

The mission clock is ticking. With a massive new map to master, a clever new operator to learn, and a dangerous flooded zone to explore, Season Ahsarah is set to be a game-changing update for Delta Force.

The deployment has begun – get to the chopper!

If you don’t yet have Delta Force in your digital library, pick it up for free from the Xbox Store.
