Marshmallow Marvin Grimvault
Marshmallow Marvin Grimvault – out now on Xbox

Our squishy hero is back, but this time, things are taking a decidedly darker turn in Marshmallow Marvin: Grimvault.

The latest adventure from developer and publisher Jolly Lobster Interactive, has launched today, on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Prepare to guide the fearless (and presumably still quite bouncy) Marvin through haunted vaults filled with ancient secrets, perilous puzzles, and deadly traps.

Priced at just ÂŁ4.19, Marshmallow Marvin: Grimvault swaps cheerful forests for dark tombs. You’ll need sharp wits and even sharper reflexes to navigate shifting passages, dodge treacherous obstacles, and unearth the mysteries hidden within the cursed Grimvault.

A Spookier Setting for Our Sweet Hero

This new installment sends Marvin deep into haunted territory. The core gameplay appears to focus on puzzle-platforming, demanding agility to avoid traps and careful thought to solve intricate puzzles blocking your path.

Your goal is to explore these dark tombs, gather ancient relics, and ultimately conquer the Grimvault’s dangers before its secrets consume Marvin forever.

It’s an intriguing shift in tone compared to Marvin’s previous outings. We previously covered the launches of Marshmallow Marvin Greenwood and the original Marshmallow Marvin adventure, which seemed like brighter, bouncier affairs. Grimvault promises a different kind of challenge, testing Marvin (and the player) in a more atmospheric and potentially hazardous setting.

Optimised or Standard? Your Choice on Xbox

Jolly Lobster Interactive is offering two ways to experience this spooky quest on Xbox, both at the same budget-friendly price:

Choose the version that best suits your crypt-crawling needs!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
