Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles launches on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles may have the longest name in video gaming history, but with it being the official game of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, there’s sure to be more than a smattering of interest going around. Today it’s time for the Demon Slayer to unleash on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. 

Available to purchase, download and play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC thanks to the early access that the Digital Deluxe Edition of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, fans of the anime, or those just wanting to know more about that crazy long title, can get involved. 

It’s priced at £54.99 from the Xbox Store, with the Standard Edition due to roll into view on October 15th for a little less (£49.99). Expect very similar price points on PS4, PS5 and PC too, with today’s special edition not just allowing for that early entry, but also ensuring you get access to additional Avatars, Costumes and Unlock Keys for good measure. 

It’s the base game that most will be worried about though and Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will take everything you know about the anime, before throwing you into exhilarating arena battles, thrilling boss fights and an epic drama and story that will have you helping Tanjiro Kamado become a full-on Demon Slayer. 

There are both English and Japanese anime cast members in place to aid the immersion and these will help you out no matter whether you’re on a slaying charge with the solo campaign, or that of the Versus mode. It’s this latter option which will allow a couple of players the chance to battle it out – either offline or online – with a huge range of characters.
