You play as Faye, leading a squad of misfits who must defeat monstrous foes that inhabit the boundary between the human and demon worlds. The combat is designed to be streamlined, removing the traditional cruft of the genre to focus purely on strategic movement and explosive execution.
Outside of battle, you’ll be navigating university life on a mysterious island. This blend of mundane daily routine and sudden supernatural threats, reminiscent of the Persona series, gives the game its unique flavour.
