Brews & Bastards
Brews & Bastards – out now on Xbox and PC

Disaster has struck the Muneshine Tavern in Brews & Bastards! The magical Brew Stone has been snatched, all the enchanted booze is gone, and the only way to get it back is through some good old-fashioned, ice-cold combat.

A new, intoxicating dungeon crawler has just been served up on the Xbox and PC stores, as Brews & Bastards has launched. This new title from developer and publisher Mune Studio Limited is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC for ÂŁ11.24, and comes with full Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Prepare to choose your inebriated hero, travel deep under the tavern, and blast your way through hordes of drunken demons in a quest to retrieve your precious stash.

The Quest for the Brew Stone

The story of Brews & Bastards is a simple one, but it’s a tale as old as time: someone has stolen your booze. It’s up to you, as one of a group of heroic champions, to travel down into the depths of the tavern’s labyrinths and get it back. You can take on this quest alone, or team up with up to three friends in 2 to 4 player couch co-op.

The core of the gameplay is built on three simple, glorious pillars: Descend, Drink, and Destroy.

  • Descend – You will travel deep under the tavern, through procedurally generated, corrupted cellars, desolate distilleries, and other strange tavern-themed environments. Each playthrough will generate new enemies, items, and stores for you to test your strength against.
  • Drink – This is where the power-ups come in. You will crack open a can of destruction with a wide variety of magical brews and artifacts that alter the gameplay in unexpected ways. Explosive Moscow Mules, high-caliber champagne bottles, and hard-hitting fruity punches will all help you to cull the corrupted creatures of the brewery.
  • Destroy – At the end of each level, you’ll be tasked with taking down big, boozy bosses, each with their own amplified pub game arena. Get ready to face off in giant beer pong, on massive dart boards, and across possessed pool tables that will stand in your way.

Your Bar Tab, on Any Device

Brews & Bastards is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means your drunken dungeon crawl can continue, no matter which device you’re on. A single digital purchase on the Xbox Store for ÂŁ11.24 unlocks the game for you on both your Xbox Series X|S console and your Windows PC.

All of your unlocked brews and progress are synced via the cloud, so you can seamlessly switch between platforms. You can start a brawl on your PC, then jump over to your Xbox to take on the giant beer pong boss without ever losing your buzz.

A Round-Up of the Mayhem

Here’s what you can expect from this new dungeon-crawling brawler:

  • An Intoxicating Dungeon Crawler: Descend into the depths of the Muneshine Tavern to retrieve the stolen Brew Stone.
  • 2 to 4 Player Couch Co-op: Take on the drunken hordes alone or with your friends.
  • Magical Brews and Artifacts: Power up with a wide variety of items that alter gameplay in unexpected ways.
  • Big, Boozy Bosses: Face off in amplified pub game arenas, including giant beer pong and massive dart boards.
  • Procedurally Generated Levels: Each playthrough generates new enemies, items, and stores.
  • Xbox Play Anywhere Enabled.

The Brew Stone has been stolen and a cold one is calling your name. If you’re a fan of chaotic, co-operative dungeon crawlers, Brews & Bastards is ready for you on the Xbox Store right now, playable across Xbox Series X|S and PC. You’ll also find a Steam version if you need it.

Whatever, it’s time to get the round in.
