(Dis)Assemble – out now on Xbox and PC

Remember trying to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time? A new puzzle game has just launched on Xbox and PC that takes that concept and turns it into a challenging and satisfying gameplay experience – (Dis)Assemble.

(Dis)Assemble is a minimalist 3D puzzler, and it is available now, July 29th, 2025, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

From developer Dragon Fruit Studio and the ever-prolific publisher Afil Games, this unique test of coordination is here, with prices starting at just ÂŁ4.19.

A Minimalist World of Puzzles

Prepare for a game where moving blocks has never been so challenging, as you must control two separate shapes in perfect sync to reach the finish line.

In (Dis)Assemble, you are tasked with guiding a duo of geometric shapes through a series of levels filled with architectural surprises. The goal is to get both shapes to the finish line, but that’s easier said than done when you’re controlling both of them simultaneously.

Thinking in Perfect Sync

The core of (Dis)Assemble is its unique control scheme. You control two geometric shapes at once—one with each hand (or, more accurately, each thumbstick).

The challenge comes when obstacles are introduced. One of your shapes might need to push a block to clear a path, while the other simultaneously has to dodge a moving hazard. You must think in perfect sync to master the space and succeed.

This is a game designed to test your coordination, logic, and patience, sometimes all at once!

Choose Your Assembly Package: Xbox & PC Editions

As is now a signature move for Afil Games, (Dis)Assemble arrives with a variety of purchasing options, including a head-scratching but brilliant deal for those who game on both Xbox and PC.

More Puzzling from Afil Games

Afil Games continues to be one of the most prolific publishers on the Xbox Store, consistently delivering a variety of budget-friendly puzzle and platforming games.

(Dis)Assemble adds another unique, mechanically-driven puzzle game to a library that has recently included the enchanting puzzle-platformer The Cursed Frog and the chaotic kitchen puzzler Fit And Fry: Organized Chef.

Key Features

  • Unique Dual-Control Mechanic: Control two geometric shapes at once, one with each hand.
  • Challenging & Rewarding Puzzles: A game that tests your coordination, logic, and patience.
  • Minimalist 3D Visuals: Navigate clean, colorful, and high-contrast levels filled with architectural surprises.

Your brain is about to get a serious workout. If you enjoy unique puzzle games that offer a real challenge and a satisfying sense of accomplishment, then it’s time to assemble, disassemble, and literally rack your brain with (Dis)Assemble, available on the Xbox Store right now.

(Dis)Assemble Description
