how to fool a liar king remastered

Arriving on the back of 2021’s release of How To Take Off Your Mask, it’s time to learn How To Fool A Liar King with the latest Remastered visual novel to release on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, the narrative kicking around in How To Fool A Liar King Remastered picks up off the back off How To Take Off Your Mask, focusing on a single heroine – Regina.

It’s this young girl who has rocked up in the land of Eroolia, but she’s no idea how she got there, or what on earth she should be doing whilst traversing the lands. Thankfully then she meets up with Juli and his mates, as they head to Laarz – the land of the cat people.

Weird set-up and ideas aside, if you have previously played How To Take Off Your Mask, then there’s a huge chance you’ll want to get involved in what How To Fool A Liar King has to offer. And if it’s not for the gloriously Japanese voice acting or the manga art that holds it together, it’ll be because of the chance to take in the unfolding narrative, one in which your own choices fully dictate the story.

Don’t think you have to have played that other game though, this can work on a standalone basis if need be.

The key features include:

  • Fantasy visual novel with Japanese voice acting
  • Beautiful manga art
  • Your choices influence the story
  • Catchy vocal theme songs
  • New game in the series of How to Take Off Your Mask Remastered. You don’t need to have played the previous game to understand the story.

The Xbox Store will provide a download of How To Fool A Liar King on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with Smart Delivery and Series X|S optimisation in house. You’ll also find this on PlayStation and Switch. It’ll cost you roughly £14.99.

Keep an eye out for our full review soon.
