The docks never stay quiet for long, and that’s certainly the case in Docked as Saber Interactive has launched the game’s first major DLC expansion – Deep Waters.
Available now across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, Deep Waters introduces new jobs, a fresh mission, and a powerful new tool that should make life around Port Wake a little easier – assuming you know how to use it.
For players who have already spent hours rebuilding the hurricane-ravaged port, this latest expansion adds another layer of industrial problem-solving, while continuing Docked’s focus on precision machinery and hands-on logistics.

A New Tool For A Growing Port
The centrepiece of the Deep Waters DLC is the arrival of the Magnet Gripper, a versatile new attachment designed to tackle cargo that standard equipment simply isn’t suited for.
Following a major ship accident that threatens Port Wake’s ambitions of gaining International Port status, operators are tasked with helping get things back on track. The solution comes in the form of this new piece of machinery, capable of handling everything from loose scrap metal to bulky oversized cargo.
The attachment can be fitted to a range of existing equipment, including the MHC Crane, Reach Stacker, STS Crane, RMG Crane and Straddle Carrier, opening up entirely new job opportunities across the port.
More Than Just Moving Containers
While Docked has always focused on the day-to-day operations of running a busy port, Deep Waters introduces some welcome variety to the workload.
Alongside the new mission, players can take on twelve additional jobs built around the Magnet Gripper’s capabilities. Tasks range from compressing metal scrap into transport-ready cubes to uncovering long-forgotten artefacts hidden beneath the surface.
Building On A Strong Foundation
For those unfamiliar with Docked, the game places players in charge of rebuilding a struggling family-run port operation following a devastating hurricane. Through contracts, machinery management and careful cargo handling, players gradually expand the facility while keeping operations running smoothly.
When we reviewed Docked, we awarded it a 4/5 score, saying: “You will be pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable moving containers around a port can be. A big part of that enjoyment stems from the story of Docked, closely followed by the precision of the gameplay. It won’t be for everyone, and I definitely had times when the repetitive nature of the tasks became frustrating, but there are many more highlights than lowlights in Docked.“
Deep Waters looks set to continue that formula, offering dedicated players fresh objectives while making good use of the game’s detailed machinery systems.

The DLC is included as part of the New Horizons Expansion Pack, which also contains another upcoming DLC still to be announced. Players can alternatively gain access through the Docked Deluxe Edition.
