Available right now from the usual digital stores, Clash Force on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, was first created by those over at Spicy Gyro Games, before being picked up in the usual Ratalaika Games fashion to see launch on console.
What you’re getting here is, on the face of it, the usual cheap game fare – low price tag, fun content, achievements galore, before throwing it to one side in order to find room for the next thrill. Only our full review of Clash Force on Xbox One will be able to tell you whether it ticks all those boxes but the £4.99 – taken down to £3.99 for a limited time – asking price certainly covers the first base.
Clash Force focuses its storytelling on the Evil Crackman, as he and his minions go about causing mayhem. It is up to you as part of the Clash Force to stop his plans. What this means is that you’ll get the opportunity to fall into the boots of Voom, Scorpido, or Echid, before navigating your way through forest bases, deserts and mines, all before reaching Crackman’s Flying Fortress in order to end his plans for good.
If you’re up for a bit of classic shooting action, are read to dodge enemies, and think of nothing better than collecting numerous power-ups, then this journey to take down Crackman should well suit. Can you save the day?
