Tofu Dream
Tofu Dream – now on Xbox

Ever wondered what a piece of tofu dreams about? Apparently, it’s a psychedelic universe filled with living traps and bizarre creatures! At least it is if you go by what Tofu Dream is telling us.

Tofu Dream, a minimalist and challenging 2D platformer from developer and publisher 2dragontails, has awakened today. This quirky adventure is available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (via a bundle) for the very palatable price of £4.19 (currently dreaming of a launch discount down to just £3.35).

A Tofu’s Worst Nightmare: Precision Platforming Required

In Tofu Dream, you take control of an unassuming piece of tofu that finds itself trapped inside a nightmare. Everything in this strange world has come to life, and not all of it is thrilled to see our wobbly hero.

Your mission is to guide this sentient soy product through a series of increasingly difficult levels, using agile moves like double jumps, dashes, and wall sliding. Precision and timing are paramount as you navigate this psychedelic universe, avoiding deadly living traps and outmanoeuvring bizarre creatures. Every shadow could hide a new danger in this world where the inanimate is animated and actively hostile.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
