If you fancy fighting off against some destructive dragons in a metroidvania world, then boy does developer Maria have you covered. Draconic Resurgence combines difficult combat with the platforming and dashing of Celeste to produce a tricky but satisfying retro adventure.

Now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Draconic Resurgence will see you enthralled in a war between humanity and dragon-kind, following a period of dragon dominance over the world.
As soon as humanity seemed to be getting the upper-hand in this battle, soon enough an ambush on a humble village has been seen as a devastating counter-attack. Enter you, player, as a warrior attempting to rescue citizens, and slay dragons in the process.
Along the way, you’ll explore a variety of locations, unlocking upgrades and taking down a number of bosses in order to see the credits roll. As is the case with any metroidvania, as you unlock new items, you’ll manage to open up new parts of the game world.

Draconic Resurgence Description
In the distant past, world was completely dominated by dragons. relentless creatures of unimaginable power that seemed to live for eternity. As the years passed, humanity challenged the dragons in a merciless war to overthrow their rule. Eventually humanity emerged victorious from this conflict. At least, that’s what everyone believed. A few days ago, under the veil of night, a mysterious being attacked their village. Now it’s up to you, a noble warrior, to rescue the captured villagers and eradicate the unknown creature.
Dragonic Resurgence is a metroidvania where you have to explore different locations, collect upgrades and fight different bosses.
