Available from right now, this new DLC pack brings pint-sized powerhouses and intriguing new faces to the explosive arena fighter on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Enter the DAIMA Roster
Priced at £7.99, the Dragon Ball DAIMA DLC Part 1 set introduces characters featured in the first part of the new anime series. Prepare to master the unique abilities of:
- Goku (Mini), Super Saiyan
- Vegeta (Mini)
- Vegeta (Mini), Super Saiyan
- Vegeta (Mini), Super Saiyan 2
- Vegeta (Mini), Super Saiyan 3
- Glorio
- Panzy
- Majin Kuu
In addition to these fighters, a new Technique-Changing Outfit for Goku (Mini) is included. Equipping this outfit allows Goku (Mini) to unleash a different Ultimate attack (Aura Impact) and access his Super Saiyan transformation.
If you already own Goku (Mini) from the pre-order bonus, this functions simply as an alternate outfit. If you don’t own the pre-order version, this alternative Goku (Mini) will appear as a separate character on the selection screen.
Season Pass & Future Content
This Dragon Ball DAIMA DLC Part 1 is included for owners of the DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Season Pass.
The Season Pass also contains the previously released Hero of Justice DLC Pack. Furthermore, another DLC pack based on Dragon Ball DAIMA is planned for release at a later date, meaning even more characters from the new series will join the roster eventually.
Expanding the Sparking! Universe
This first DAIMA pack adds even more variety to the already colossal roster of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. As we noted in our 4/5 review of the base game: “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is undeniably a great 3D fighter that’s geared up to pander to fans in the best way. The impressive visuals, the nostalgia-fuelled Episodes, the humongous roster of characters, and the exciting action are praiseworthy… There’s also a worry that those unfamiliar with the classic encounters won’t gain much from the streamlined story arcs.“
While the story focus remains on classic sagas, the addition of characters from the very latest anime series ensures the roster stays current and offers something new for dedicated fans following all eras of Dragon Ball.
