Jackbox Games have today announced two new titles planned for a 2016 release. Step forward Drawful 2 and The Jackbox Party Pack 3.

The sequel to Drawful will be coming in the Spring of 2016, prompting players to draw weird, funny and just god-damn awful things on their smartphones and tablets whilst others try and play along, influencing the game’s outcome as they go. With more colours and enhanced streaming tools, Drawful 2 should appeal to all those who found the original a good laugh.

Drawful 2 will launch  on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac via Steam, the Mac App Store and Amazon Fire TV.

Following that, and not releasing until the Fall of 2016, will be The Jackbox Party Pack 3. Following on from the great success that Jackbox have had with the previous two packs, The Party Pack 3 will feature five new and outrageous party games. Whilst we don’t yet know what these will be, it’s been confirmed that Drawful 2 WILL NOT be included. Expect a ton of other hilarious stuff though!

“How do we keep coming up with these packs of five new hit party games?” asked Jackbox Games CEO Mike Bilder. “I don’t know, I’m just the CEO. My employees do all the work. Love the games they make, though. What are we doing for lunch?”

We will of course keep you fully up-to-date with all things Jackbox. If the two new games are anywhere near as good as their previous stuff, then we’ll be more than happy. If you are one of those who hasn’t yet checked out either The Jackbox Party Pack 1 or The Jackbox Party Pack 2, then hit those links and read our reviews.

It’d be great if these weren’t tablet based games. Loved the original You Don’t Know Jack where I could play with my controller
