17Studio, the developers behind the surreal and unsettling Repit, invite you to experience Dreamless, a first-person psychological horror game that will challenge your perceptions and send shivers down your spine.

Available now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, this immersive experience plunges players into a mystery that has haunted a community for generations.

A Week of Death and Disappearances

In a quiet town, nestled in the American South, a sinister pattern has emerged. Every 25 years, during the first week of August, teenagers mysteriously vanish, their fates unknown and their disappearances unexplained.

The townspeople, hardened by years of fear and uncertainty, have learned to accept this “death week” as an unavoidable tragedy, stocking up on supplies and locking their doors in a futile attempt to protect themselves.

A Vlogger’s Curiosity

You play as John, a diligent senior year student with a passion for video blogging.

As the “week of death” approaches in August 2017, John receives a tempting offer from his friend Will: to explore the abandoned house of a deceased old woman rumoured to be connected to the town’s dark secret.

Driven by curiosity and a desire to uncover the truth, John embarks on a journey that will lead him into the heart of the mystery and challenge his perception of reality.

Features That Will Keep You Awake at Night

  • Photorealistic Graphics: Immerse yourself in a world that feels eerily real, with stunning graphics that capture the unsettling beauty of the town and its haunting locations.
  • Realistic Gameplay: Experience a heightened sense of immersion with realistic gameplay mechanics that ground the supernatural elements in a believable world.
  • Haunting Atmosphere: The game’s high-quality audio design creates an atmosphere of dread and suspense, with chilling sound effects and a haunting soundtrack that will send shivers down your spine.
  • Unpredictable Gameplay: The abandoned house, and indeed the town itself, transforms as the game progresses, presenting new obstacles, puzzles, and challenges that will keep you on your toes.
  • Intriguing Narrative: Unravel the dark history of the town and the mystery behind the recurring disappearances, piecing together clues and confronting the truth behind the “death week.”

A Descent into Darkness

As John delves deeper into the mystery, he’ll encounter unsettling events, disturbing clues, and a growing sense of paranoia. The line between reality and dreams will blur, and he’ll be forced to confront his own fears and the dark secrets that have haunted the town for generations.

Dreamless is available now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, through the Xbox Store, for £12.49.

So, if you dare to face the unknown, grab your controller and embark on a chilling journey into the heart of a town gripped by a sinister curse. Just remember, in the world of Dreamless, nothing is quite as it seems, and the truth may be more terrifying than you ever imagined.

Dreamless Description

Every 25 years, horrifying events occur in a lost town in the south. For one week, August 1-7, referred to as “death week,” teenagers mysteriously disappear. City officials have long ago given up on the mystery and are simply closing missing persons cases, advising residents to stock up on essential supplies and not to leave their homes. But even such measures don’t save the day, and more people go missing every year. Is a serial killer, who has passed his craft from generation to generation, to blame for these terrible disappearances, or … or … Is it a curse?
