Now available on Xbox – a first foray of this bright and colourful roguelike onto console – God of Weapons sees you out to reclaim your land from the plague of darkness sweeping over it.
To restore your home into an age of light, you’ll need to ascend up the tower of Zhor, surviving the many monsters that call each floor their home.
God of Weapons is a roguelike, so expect to take many runs before you achieve your goal: each run will allow you to organise new weapons and accessories in your inventory, increasing your chance of subsequent success.
It is this inventory management element of the game that is so unique, as you can only have so many items with you at a time. Each item takes up a certain space in your inventory, making management a puzzle to solve, akin to what is found in Resident Evil or Dredge. Many of the weapons auto-attack too – hence the links to Vampire Survivors.
