It whisks us off to Icewind Dale, a land in which Frost Giants and Dragons roam free. it’ll be up to you, and your four heroes, to fight back against the rising threat of evil, exploring the lands and making the most of the goodies that they hold within – that means gear and abilities!

So how do you get your grubby D&D mitts on Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance? Well, it’s quite simple really – you head to the local digital store of your choice, picking up a copy of the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (with full X|S Optimisation), PS4, PS5 or PC in the process. For us Xbox players, it’s the Xbox Store which holds the key to this Dungeons & Dragons adventure and it’s there where Dark Alliance is found in two forms – the Standard Edition for £33.49, or the Deluxe Edition for £49.99. It’s that which includes the Beholder Weapon Set, the Lich Weapon Set and the Echoes of the Blood War.
Of course, if you’re running the Xbox Game Pass route, then you’ll probably be best off grabbing the free download initally and seeing how you go from there.
