The community has spoken, the stats have been updated, and a new wave of underrated heroes are ready to shine.

EA SPORTS has today revealed and launched Ratings Reload, the first-ever live service ratings campaign for EA SPORTS FC 26, shaped directly by feedback from both athletes and fans. The first of two special squads is available in Football Ultimate Team right now.

This new campaign takes the most requested changes to player ratings since the game’s launch – from overall stats to PlayStyles – and brings them to life in-game, celebrating the players that the community believes were underrated.

A Game That Listens

EA SPORTS FC 26 continues to prove why it’s the king of the virtual pitch. In our recent 4.5/5 review, we praised it as an experience that “is frustrating at times, but there is nothing else that can beat it, and no competition that can deliver such a well crafted experience of football.

This new Ratings Reload campaign is a fantastic example of that well-crafted experience evolving. By directly incorporating feedback from the community and even the players themselves, EA is showing a clear commitment to listening to its fans and continuously refining the game.

Ratings Reload: The Community’s Choices

Have you ever thought a player’s rating was too low? A missing PlayStyle? Not a high enough weak foot? This is the campaign for you.

Ratings Reload surfaces the most requested changes from the community. EA has been monitoring “underrated” votes from the official FC 26 Ratings Database, as well as comments across social media channels, to form two special squads of players in Football Ultimate Team who have received significant boosts.

Ratings Reload Team 1

The first squad of 20 players is available in packs in Ultimate Team from today, October 10th. The full team is as follows:

  • Michael Olise
  • Lotte Wubben-Moy
  • Lucy Bronze
  • Jovana Damnjanović
  • Julián Álvarez
  • Pau Cubarsí
  • Tyler Morton
  • Florian Thauvin
  • Heung Min Son
  • Anders Dreyer
  • Eberechi Eze
  • Marc Cucurella
  • Hugo Ekitiké
  • Oscar Bobb
  • Cristian Romero
  • Scott McTominay
  • Salma Paralluelo
  • Mary Alice Vignola
  • Manaka Matsukubo
  • Trinity Rodman

A second Ratings Reload team will be announced and released on October 17th. We’ll keep you updated as it drops, but you may also wish to keep an eye on the EA pages.

More Than Just New Cards

The campaign is more than just a new squad in packs; it’s a full event with new objectives and ways to upgrade your own club.

And for the first time in FC 26, the campaign will feature Silver-only Live Events. The “Silver Warm Up” is live in Week 1, requiring you to use a squad of players with a 74 OVR or below. This will be followed by the highly anticipated “World Tour Silver Superstars” event in Week 2, offering a fresh and exciting squad-building challenge.

Further to that, a host of new player Evolutions have also been added. These include “Comprehensive Glow Up EVOs” for each area of the pitch, as well as new Evolutions specifically designed to prepare your silver cards for the new Live Events.

The debate over player ratings is a core part of football culture, and now it’s a core part of the game itself. It’s time to head into Ultimate Team and see if your favourite “underrated” player has finally gotten the upgrade they deserve. The first team is in packs now.

Grab EA FC 26 from the usual stores, like the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S play.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
