After a little break, EA are moving back into the swing of things with their new golf title…any surprise to see the world’s number 1 golfer announced as the headline act?
EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will release on Xbox One and PS4 come June 2015. Utilising the Frostbite engine, the dev team behind the game will create beautiful new environments, featuring the most detailed courses in franchise history. Frostbite also renders the entire course at once, eliminating load times between holes and allowing users to play their shot from almost any location.
It truly is Golf Without Limits.

I can’t wait to spend some quality time on the courses with a buddy again! I’m not expecting a ridiculous amount of courses with the release, but I hope they include more than with previous games… and frankly I hope they don’t focus TOO much on the fantasy courses.
They could just make the title simpler. They’re already focussing more on the personality than on the game with all the promos – and frankly, his “It’s in the game” bit doesn’t show much personality to begin with – pokerface… Just focus on the game and get it done guys, c’mon!
