It has been a fair few years since a golf game came out of the house of EA Sports but today all that changes. At least for those with early access. The next generation of golf arrives in EA Sports PGA Tour, out today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Competing directly against PGA Tour 2K23, EA Sports PGA Tour is the first golf game from EA Sports in nearly eight years. The previous release was Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. So, the team has had plenty of time to prepare a new golf game for current-gen systems.
EA Sports PGA Tour is the exclusive home of the Majors: The Masters, PGA Championship, The US Open and The Open. There are over 30 courses featured including Pebble Beach, The Old Course at St Andrews, TPC Sawgrass and the iconic Augusta National for the first time since 2014. These will all feature the various different careers modes allowing you to experience these classic golf courses in almost any way you can imagine. And, powered by the Frostbite engine ensures you are getting the closest representation of these courses short of simply playing them.
EA Sports PGA Tour also features Pure Strike. Powered by Shotlink, even individual golfer specific swings are taken into account. This adds to the course dynamics and ball movements for the ultimate in realistic golf gameplay.
