Earn some dough as a Blacksmith Forger

Previously found selling its wares on Nintendo Switch, it’s now time for Xbox players to prove themselves as they look to earn some dough as a Blacksmith Forger.

From the Weakfish Studio publishing team and those at Light Ape Games, Blacksmith Forger is the latest super cheap gaming experience to make waves on Xbox. It’s priced at £4.19, with a launch discount cutting that down to £3.35 for a few weeks post launch. If you’ve ever been interested in making a name for yourself as a little blacksmith and want to work the forge, Blacksmith Forger has got your back. We mean, it’s in the name…

Available right this second to purchase and download from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, we can only imagine what is going on in Blacksmith Forger, mostly as the press kit and game blurb is, well, sparse to say the least.

But try we will and we’re looking at opportunities to go weapon and shield creating, delivering the exact specifications that are ordered by our multitude of customers. With gold and iron ready for crafting, it seems like Blacksmith Forger will play as a more metal-based Overcooked!, ditching the food and working pointy swords and strong shields.

Utilising our crafting forge, or oven as it seems to be, will allow us to dip into the magical world of weaponry like never before, even creating and crafting super powerful options thanks to the magic of potions.

We’re pretty well set that Blacksmith Forger isn’t going to be a Game of the Year contender come the end of 2023, but for a low asking price and chance to get weilding some swords? Yeah, we’ll give it a go.

You’ll find Blacksmith Forger on the Xbox Store.

Game Description:

We are a forge, We can craft Gold ingots and Iron ingots as well as Weapons and Shields. Our customers order weapons and shields. You have to catch up with them! If they wait too long, they get bored. As soon as you deliver the Weapons and Shields to the Customer, You have to be fast! But if you need more speed, you can try Potions. They will speed up your oven. Beware, some customers may request powered weapons!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
