Tropico 6 Return to Nature right now!

Attention, citizens of Tropico! A new era of environmental responsibility is dawning on your island paradise as you get the chance to Return to Nature with Tropico 6.

Kalypso Media and Limbic Entertainment have released Tropico 6 – Return to Nature, a new DLC pack that brings a green revolution to the beloved dictator sim.

Available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4|5, Return to Nature invites players to embrace sustainability, cultivate lush landscapes, and build a greener Tropico.

And if you’re wondering whether Tropico 6 is worthy of your presidential attention, our 3.5/5 review of the Next Gen Edition on Xbox Series X|S might sway you: “So, is Tropico 6 Next Gen Edition worthy of re-election? Well, there’s definitely value to be found… For the most part, Tropico 6 – Next Gen Edition is worth it if you’ve enjoyed any of the previous Tropico games…

Greening Up the Island

In Tropico 6 – Return to Nature, El Presidente joins forces with Sunny Flowers, Tropico’s resident tree-hugger, to transform the island into an eco-friendly paradise. Embrace sustainable practices, plant lush forests, and construct new nature-themed buildings, including a Forest School and an Outdoor Gym.

At the heart of this green revolution is the Biggdrasil, a majestic world wonder with the power to transform Tropico’s agriculture, boost the wood industry, and even enhance the island’s economy and international relations.

This wonder tree doesn’t just grow on trees, though (well, technically it does, but you know what I mean). You’ll need to nurture it and make strategic choices to unlock its full potential.

Nature as a Resource

The DLC introduces a new Nature Value system that rewards players for embracing eco-conscious policies and planting trees. A high Nature Value leads to increased efficiency and harmony across your island nation, proving that Tropico’s plants can be just as productive as its people.

New Features and Edicts

Return to Nature also includes:

  • New Buildings: 15 new nature-themed buildings to construct and manage.
  • New Scenario: “El Árbol De Maravilla” offers a tutorial-like experience focused on utilising the Biggdrasil.
  • New Edicts: Three new edicts, including “Reforestation,” “Natural Reaction,” and “Tropical Paradise,” to shape your environmental policies.
  • New Cosmetics: Dress El Presidente in a nature-themed suit and adorn your palace garden with scenic Biggdrasil statues.

Free Update 23

Alongside the DLC, Kalypso Media is releasing a free update for Tropico 6 on all platforms. Update 23 introduces new features like tree planting, custom parks, and a search and filter tool for buildings, giving players even more control over their island paradise.

A Green Revolution for Tropico

Tropico 6 – Return to Nature adds a refreshing new dimension to the Tropico experience, encouraging players to embrace sustainability and build a greener island nation.

With its new buildings, gameplay mechanics, and focus on environmental responsibility, this DLC offers a welcome expansion for both seasoned dictators and newcomers to Tropico.

Time to Go Green

Tropico 6 – Return to Nature is available now on PC, Xbox (Xbox Store – £10.99), and PlayStation. So, don your gardening gloves, embrace the wonders of nature, and lead Tropico towards a greener future!
