The Elder Scrolls Online Clockwork City arrives for console players as Xbox One X enhancements go live!

-

If you’re a player of The Elder Scrolls Online on PC, then you would have been hands-on with The Clockwork City DLC for some time already. Today though, as the Xbox One X enhancements hit home, the DLC has now arrived on console.

Available now,  console players of The Elder Scrolls Online can journey deep into Sotha Sil’s epic creation, the incredible Clockwork City, to uncover the myriad secrets of the mechanical realm in the new DLC pack. Available for free to all ESO Plus Members, or for purchase via the in-game Crown Store for 2,000 Crowns should you not be a Plus member, the Clockwork City extends the ever-expanding and unfolding storyline of The Elder Scrolls Online, taking players through new worlds and adventures.

With the DLC introducing a new zone, it obviously also brings with it an exciting new story quest line filled with more than 10 hours of adventure, a new Trial – Asylum Sanctorum — to challenge the toughest teams, and much more.

Alongside the arrival of The Clockwork City on Xbox One is the One X enhancement patch. All of the following are in place…

  • Native 4K resolution
  • True HDR
  • Greatly increased view distance
  • Upgraded shadows with Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
  • Upgraded real-time water reflections

Furthermore, Update 16 is due to arrive and is a free base game update that everybody can enjoy. It includes numerous fixes, balance changes, performance improvements, and additions such as a Trait Tracker system that will allow you to see whether or not you’ve researched the unique trait on an item. This update will also include a new Battlegrounds game type for ESO: Morrowind owners: Crazy King, letting your team seize a capture point location that jumps randomly around the map.

Fire up The Elder Scrolls Online and enjoy the new content!
