The Mistress of the Dark has arrived to haunt your high-score tables, bringing with her a double dose of classic pinball terror and tantalisingly cheeky commentary with a couple of new Pinball FX tables.
Zen Studios has unleashed two of the most beloved Williams tables of all time, Pinball FX – Williams Pinball: Elvira and the Party Monsters and Pinball FX – Williams Pinball: Scared Stiff, for the Pinball FX platform.
This spooky two-pack is ready to rattle your bones across a huge range of devices, including Pinball FX on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch; Pinball FX VR on Meta Quest; and Zen Pinball World on iOS & Android.
Unpleasant Dreams, Darlings!
Both of these new tables are faithful digital recreations of their legendary physical counterparts, allowing a whole new generation to experience the magic that made Elvira a pinball icon.
Elvira and the Party Monsters
It’s time to crash a graveyard party! This faithful recreation of the 1989 arcade original invites you to a frightful evening hosted by the Mistress of the Dark herself.
Bash the monsters, raise the dead, and keep the party alive with every flip as you aim for multiball madness and huge jackpots, all while Elvira delivers her signature cheeky commentary.
Scared Stiff
The 1996 classic is back to rattle your bones! Join Elvira on a quest to get “Scared Stiff” by completing six spooky tales using the interactive backbox toy.
Featuring original voice lines and sound effects, this table is a fully authentic recreation of the arcade original, blending classic mechanical feel with modern digital enhancements for a truly terrifyingly good time.
Try Before You Buy with FREE Trials!
One of the best features of the Pinball FX platform is the ability to test-drive new tables before you commit. In fantastic news for all players, both Elvira and the Party Monsters and Scared Stiff are available with free trials right now.
This allows you to get a feel for the layout, shots, and unique modes of each table before deciding to make them a permanent part of your collection.
A Frightfully Good Reason to Flip Out
The Pinball FX platform launched as a free-to-play hub, a move that shifted the focus towards building a personal collection of tables. In our 3/5 review of the base game, we noted: “It’s free, yes, but you can’t spend all your life on the single table included, which means you must spend money on tables. The selection on offer and the Pinball Pass combine to give a viable route into pinball addiction for newcomers to get started though.“
The arrival of iconic, licensed tables like this Elvira double-pack is exactly what makes that collection-building process so compelling. It provides a perfect, nostalgia-fueled route into pinball addiction for both seasoned flipper wizards and newcomers alike, and the inclusion of free trials makes the decision to jump in easier than ever.
The Mistress of the Dark is holding the door open to her haunted pinball parlour, and it would be rude to refuse the invitation. Whether you’re a long-time fan of these classic tables or a newcomer ready to be enchanted by Elvira’s unique charm, this double dose of spooky pinball is an unmissable treat. So, what are you waiting for?
Go get Scared Stiff!
You’ll find the Pinball FX – Williams Pinball: Elvira and the Party Monsters and Pinball FX – Williams Pinball: Scared Stiff tables present on the Xbox Store, for Pinball FX. It’s also on other digital platforms too.
