The sequel to Shadow of Mordor looks set to tell a lot of new stories and provide an even bigger world of heroes and villains to enjoy when it arrives. But for now, it’s time to take a gander at the gruesome beasts in Shadow of War that’ll send shivers down your spine.

This latest trailer from Warner Bros. showcases the sheer variety of monsters, creatures and beasts that players will encounter in the story-based missions and during the adventures throughout Shadow of War’s massive open world of Mordor. Expect to see the likes of fire-breathing drakes, ferocious graugs and caragors, creepy spiders, Ghuls and the ancient Balrog Tar Goroth. There’s also Carnán, the very mysterious spirit of nature who possess the ability to actually take the form of vicious creatures – be wary of that one!

You can watch the exciting new Middle-earth: Shadow of War trailer below and get yourself acquainted with the monsters you’ll be slaying when the game arrives on 10th October, 2017 for Xbox One X, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
