When a small town is rocked by a fatal incident, it’ll take a seasoned detective to assist the local authority in solving the case. This is the emotional adventure of Rainswept and it’s now available on Xbox One.
In Rainswept, the town of Pineview is shocked after a couple are found dead in their kitchen as a result of an apparent double shooting. The locals are well aware that this pair had a turbulent relationship and so the idea of it being a murder-suicide is highly possible. Detective Michael Stone isn’t convinced though and believes there’s more to the situation at hand.
You’ll need to help Detective Stone, with a little assistance from the empathetic Amy Blunt, uncover the truth about Chris and Diane’s untimely demise – ignoring all the speculation and rumours surrounding the two. Be ready to chat with the townsfolk, interview potential suspects, discover more about the victims, and piece together the goings on. Like most great detectives however, he’s got a haunting past which will put his sanity to the test while delving deep into the case.
If Frostwood Interactive’s murder mystery dealing with themes of love, relationships and a ton of unresolved trauma, sounds enticing enough to make a purchase, then Rainswept will cost £8.39 on the Xbox Store. Should you act swiftly, there’s a slight discount in place for a week after launch, meaning it’s currently priced at £7.55.
