There are some games which encourage being a total fool and by the end of a session the chances are you won’t be on talking terms with a few friends. Ultimate Chicken Horse is one of them and, while it does sound like one of the best animal farming sims around, it actually gets you to screw over your mates by placing deadly platforms and traps on a player-generated level.
If your superior platforming skills get the better of your friend’s devious level, then you will get points towards being victorious, and those all important bragging rights among your group. You can also save, create and share the best levels to be played in Challenge Mode – with global leaderboards for levels you play. Your jumping will be accompanied by a funky soundtrack, different locations such as the Farm and Dance Party, as well as a cartoony art style.
But the most important aspect of Ultimate Chicken Horse is most definitely in the animals that you can play as. Obviously the chicken and horse have got the nod, but a sheep and further animals are available if you prefer. Furthermore, the Elephantastic Update is up and running, with new locations and an elephant to pick as your animal, as well as the aforementioned Challenge Mode.
Sometimes we just want to mess about with friends, or more specifically mess with friends – and Ultimate Chicken Horse will deliver some laughter filled madness for you and some mates to enjoy. The possibilities for levels are basically infinite, and the inclusion of global leaderboards will have us fighting for the top spaces for hours on end.
