We’ve partnered up with Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios to celebrate the launch of the latest content update for Star Trek Online, Season 13 – Escalation, by giving away a whole load of Xbox One codes for a rare in-game ground weapon. So, hands up if you want a Wrist Lance!
Star Trek Online is a free-to-play MMORPG where players can choose their own destiny; with the chance to be the Captain of the Federation starship, a Klingon Warrior, or even the commander of a Romulan Republic Warbird. If you love Star Trek then you’ll be familiar with the iconic locations featured in Star Trek Online and will be able to make contact with all sorts of alien species. What one of our codes will do is allow you to instantly acquire an in-game weapon known as a Fluidic Antiproton Wrist Lance.
But what is the Fluidic Antiproton Wrist Lance? Well, the weaponry of the Undine species utilises cohesive antiproton streams to damage foes and these streams are known to occasionally knock the opposition away, causing additional damage. Its primary fire type isn’t to dissimilar to Assault weapons using the same tech, however the secondary fire incorporates something like the ‘focused beam’ tech in use on Undine starships. Be ready to charge up for a massive blast which will scar the surface your foe is standing on, sending out damaging ripples in the process.
How do you get one of these beasty weapons? Well, it’s quite simple really. It’s free to enter and Star Trek Online free to download and play, so you’ve nothing to lose. All you need to do to get hold of a code is follow and tweet us on Twitter, join our Facebook group and message us, or pay our Facebook page a visit, giving it a like and then messaging us in the process. To Redeem Your Code on Xbox One:
- Install Star Trek Online from the Xbox One marketplace.
- Upon launching Star Trek Online, you’ll have the option to link your gamertag with an Arc account. This will open the Internet browser on your Xbox One and you can complete the account linking process there. If you skip it now, you’ll have another opportunity later.
- Once you’re in Star Trek Online, select the Arc option.
- Install Arc. (You can also search for Arc in the Xbox One Marketplace)
- Launch Arc and hit the X button.
- Enter your code in the field and select “Redeem.”
- Visit the C-Store. Rewards can be found on the tab marked “Promotions.”
*These codes are only eligible for the Xbox One version of Star Trek Online and can only be redeemed by one character on a single account. The weapon is bound to character upon pickup.
