When you see the world ‘survivors’ tagged onto any game title nowadays, your mind should rush to one thing and one thing only. That’s the case with the release of Entropy Survivors.
That’s right – Entropy Survivors, as well as being the companion game to 2023’s roguelike Shoulders of Giants, is very much in the same ilk as Vampire Survivors. Just with more sci-fi goodness to turn your screen into a colourful cacophony of chaos.
Save the Entire Galaxy!
Available now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, in Entropy Survivors you will join cybernetic samurai/mech GERM, as well as the deadly-accurate Froggie on the adventure of a lifetime. In order to save the galaxy from the evil Entropy force, you must churn through hundreds of different enemies, all intent on, of course, ensuring you don’t succeed in your mission.
There’s some crazy weapons to be using here, ranging from Shoe Drops raining shoe-based hellfire on enemies, to the Roll’em Up ability turning things all a bit Katamari Damacy, if you catch my drift.
Proceedings get very action-packed, very quickly, and you’ll need lightning-fast reflexes as well as keen eyes to spot which enemies require priority in being taken down.
