Euro Fishing reveals new lake and fish in its biggest challenge yet!

2026's Best Games

For those who like nothing more than sitting at the side of a lake, rod in hand and watching the world go by, fishing is the ultimate form of relaxation. But when the weather gets cold and you can’t be bothered leaving the house, the virtual world takes over and that is where Euro Fishing comes into its own. Very soon those anglers who have previously enjoyed everything that the game can throw at them will be tasked with a huge challenge, as a new location, and new fish, have been revealed.

‘Bergsee’ is a picturesque 15-acre lake set in the foothills of the Austrian mountains and very soon you’ll be able to take a trip to its shores in order to catch some of the biggest coarse fish seen in Euro Fishing. With huge Tench, massive Bream and even larger Carp, you’ll be able to pick those lake monsters out at the drop of a hat.

The DLC also introduces Perch to the game, ensuring that you’ll need to utilise all your knowledge in order to land something a little different.

But that’s not all as a free update will also be arriving ahead of the release of Bergsee, adding in five new licensed lines from Ridgemonkey and 12 baits from the likes of Baitworks, Hydra, Mainline and Enterprise. When you add these to the new challenges found in Bergsee, you’ll understand how Euro Fishing is keeping fresh and ensuring you’ll love angling even more!

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Perch to Euro Fishing,” said Desmond O’Connor, Fishing Producer at Dovetail Games, “For those fans who think they’ve mastered everything Euro Fishing has to offer, we can’t wait to see how well they fare against this new challenge!”

Bergsee will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC from the 13th Feb 2018 for a standalone price of £8.99. It will also be included in the Season Pass for Euro Fishing, as the fourth and final DLC drop.
