Is anyone really surprised that The LEGO Movie Videogame has done so well this week? No, us neither!
With only two new games out on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and The LEGO movie hitting the box office, it was expected that the game would go in pretty near the top….And top it is for the Xbox 360 with only that darn FIFA 14 keeping it off the Xbox One premier spot. Everything is in fact, pretty awesome!
Disappointment though for Square Enix as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII only manages to jump in to a 4th place on the 360 chart.
Below are the full top 10 charts for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 for the week up to and including 15th Feb 2014.
Xbox 360
1) The LEGO Movie Videogame (Last week – new entry)
2) Call of Duty Ghosts (3)
3) GTA V (4)
4) Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (new entry)
5) Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition (2)
6) Fable Anniversary (1)
7) LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (5)
8) FIFA 14 (6)
9) Assassins Creed IV Black Flag (-)
10) Aliens Colonial Marines (8)
The Xbox One chart is still pretty static, with LEGO coming in second to the best that is FIFA 14. The UK’s love affair with Lara Croft is seemingly waning as Tomb Raider drops a good few spots. With nothing out on Xbox One this coming week, we’d hazard a guess and say it’ll be pretty much the same again next week, although The LEGO Movie stands a decent chance of hitting top spot this time round.
Xbox One
1) FIFA 14 (1)
2) The LEGO Movie Videogame (new entry)
3) Battlefield 4 (3)
4) Call of Duty Ghosts (4)
5) Forza 5 (5)
6) Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (2)
7) Dead Rising 3 (6)
8) Ryse: Son of Rome (7)
9) Assassins Creed IV Black Flag (8)
10) LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (9)
How long can The LEGO Movie stay up there? Probably an awfully long time if we’re being honest. In case you haven’t yet bought it, we’ll have a full review for you this coming week which could swing a sale in your direction. All things are currently pointing to AWESOME!
