Did you love the Xbox release of Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master? You’re going to absolutely adore TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival this November.

Bandai Namco have today announced that TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC this November, following on from the release of Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! back in 2022.

Keep on drumming!

Landing November 7th 2024, TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival will take players to Omiko City as the best of Taiko comes together with Don-chan and Kumo-kyun. It’s here where you’ll get to take in a celebration of music, working through a Story Mode, facing off against others in the online space, and partaking in some fun with friends.

TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival will land with 76 songs, including the likes of Gurenge, Feel Special and Racing into the Night. Fruther is the Taiko Music Pass, a subscription which will add upwards of 700 more songs.

With support of up to 120 fps, new collab songs, mini characters and more, TAIKO NO TATSUJIN: Rhythm Festival will come in a couple of flavours across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. There’s the Standard Edition, or the Setlist Edition which adds in Anime Song Collection Sets (9 tracks), Pops Collection (14 tracks) and a Vocaloid Songs Collection (9 tracks).

Further to that, pre-order and you’ll get access to another 5 tracks in the Namco Game Music Pack – SYMPHONIC VALKYRIE; EAT’EM UP! (from R4 -RIDGE RACER TYPE4-); GOING TO LUNATEA (from Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil); Boku no→Chikyu (Mr. DRILLER Drill Land); The arrow was shot (from TALES OF THE ABYSS)

A new drum?

There’s also a new Taiko No Tatsujin Drum Controller up for grabs. Surely that heightens the experience even more, no?

Have a trailer, and then hold tight for a November release.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
