It seems like a bit of a strange combination, but today Xbox One owners can get access to two games from EXOR Studios in one big bundle – a bundle which sees a little discount take hold.
The X-Morph: Defense & Zombie Driver Bundle puts a top down defensive strategy shooter together with an insane mix of cars, speed, blood and zombies. If ever there were two games that were poles apart, then it is X-Morph: Defense and Zombie Driver Ultimate, but with the titles being delivered to our doors courtesy of EXOR Studios, I guess there is no harm in giving us a little discount.
So what do we have? Well Zombie Driver first released in HD form on Xbox 360 back in 2014. It was then revamped for the latest generation of consoles, with an Ultimate version arriving on Xbox One. Priced at £11.99, it lets you do one thing and one thing only – Slaughter all the Zombies!
X-Morph: Defense meanwhile is a completely different kettle of fish, and a much more recent one at that. Combining top down shooting with a strategic tower defense take on things, it’s a pretty unique blend of ideas, but is most definitely one that gets a bit samey a bit too quickly. Only released in August 2017 – with a £15.99 price tag – you may well have taken a look at this unique game and put it on your wish list.
Well, if you did, then you should probably take it back off again and instead drop this bundle into its place. At £22.39, if you haven’t played either game, but are interested in seeing what they have to offer, then this is the way forward as any saving you can make is usually a good one. That said, the bundle price alone doesn’t sell things and it would have been great to see something close to the buy one get one free offers we sometimes see with these dual packs – especially seeing as Zombie Driver Ultimate is starting to get on a bit in its years.
