Star Wars Jedi Survivor – now on Xbox One and PS4

Been casting a jealous eye the way of current-gen gamers, but spend your time playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4? Your time is now as STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor comes to old-gen consoles.

It’s been some 18 months since STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, as EA and Respawn’s third person galaxy spanning action adventure took hold, making the most of the power of the latest consoles. It’s a game that went down brilliantly too, with our own review of STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor on Xbox Series X|S picking up a 4.5/5 score.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor doesn’t do much different over Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but the small tweaks and improvements that are in place make for a much more enjoyable experience.

But now magic has been worked to allow older console players the opportunity. Available right now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, a whole swathe of new players can now join Cal Kestis as they take in the narrative-driven single player affair.

Dive in and you’ll get to face off against the Empire’s forces in the bowels of Coruscant, navigate the treacherous mountain paths and Shattered Moon of Koboh, and weather the desert sands of Jedha with Nightsister Merrin by your side.

Key game features

  • Continue Cal’s Journey – No longer a Padawan, Cal has come into his own and grown into a powerful Jedi Knight. The Dark Times are closing in – with enemies new and familiar surrounding him, Cal will need to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him.
  • Go Beyond Your Training – The cinematic combat system returns with additional Force abilities and new lightsaber fighting styles. Creatively leverage all these abilities and weapons to strategically take on an expanded host of enemies, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.
  • Explore an Untamed Galaxy – Discover new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, each with unique biomes, challenges, and enemies. Master new skills, equipment, and abilities that will augment the ways you explore, fight, and roam. With larger areas to explore and more to discover off the beaten path, players who adventure beyond the horizon will find hidden rewards.

What’s more, STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor targets 1080p 30FPS on PS4 Pro, 1440p 30FPS on Xbox One X, 900p 30FPS for PS4, and 720p 30FPS on Xbox One.

With the current-gen version of the game picking up much acclaim, there should be no reason to not get involved now that STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor is on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Hit up the Xbox Store page and pay up the £44.99 (discounted if you have EA Play).

Remember, the game is still playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC too.
