Experience the return of the legend with R-Type Final 2

There are some games in which the name sells the experience – R-type is one of those games. That in turn means R-Type Final 2 pretty much sells itself now that it has come to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, R-Type Final 2 promises to bring the usual R-Type experience that most gamers would have experienced at least once in their lives. 

Full of explosive action, you’ll be found utilising your fleet of R-Type fighters in Final 2 in order to fight back against the ever-increasing force of the Bydo. it is these which are ever evolving as we discover new enemies constantly spawning from the wreckage you cause. With the levels you take in looking to alter as progress is made, only by making the most of the weapons on hand, will you ever find any form of success. 

R-Type Final 2 fully deserves a place in our ‘Xbox games to look out for in April‘ article, even if it does rock up on the final day of the month. Honestly though, whether you’re a fan of the series from years gone by, or are just looking for a new SHMUP that will deliver some of the most explosive action, R-Type Final 2 should well deliver it.
