Experience the Spirit of Le Mans with the latest DLC for Project CARS 2 on Xbox One

-

Project CARS 2 has some fresh DLC to bolster the simulation experience with a mixture of both historic and modern content, including a new track. It’s off to Le Mans we go!

Whilst the instantly recognisable Circuit de la Sarthe, famous for the Le Mans 24hr event, is already present in-game in its modern form, the Project CARS 2 Spirit of Le Mans Pack DLC introduces a 1970s recreation of the circuit as seen in the Steve McQueen film “Le Mans”. There are also some additional cars specific to that era to get behind the wheel of, with the Ferrari 512 S and 512 M, and Porsche 917 LH included in the package. To accompany these classics are two ultra rare Le Mans vehicles – the 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GTP (Porsche only built three of them) and the 1986 Porsche 961, the one-off Group C class car that ran twice at Le Mans.

But if you think that’s your lot, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find four high-tech endurance machines from 2016 as well – the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the Porsche 919 Hybrid, the high-grip Audi R18 (Fuji 2016) and high-speed Audi R18 (Le Mans 2016). And if that’s not enough then the extra five career events designed to breathe life into Le Mans and ten bespoke liveries might just do the trick for you.

To get your hands on the Project CARS 2 Spirit of Le Mans Pack DLC, pay a visit to the Microsoft Store and part ways with £7.99 of your hard earned cash to own it on Xbox One. Alternatively, it’s available for Season Pass owners at no extra cost.

If you haven’t yet played Project CARS 2 yet, have a read of our review and then hop in the driver’s seat for an impressive racing experience.

DLC Description:

Race to glory at Le Mans past and present with the Project CARS 2 “Spirit of Le Mans” Pack. Fight the Battle of the Titans driving for Ferrari and Porsche on a painstakingly and faithfully recreated Le Sarthe Circuit as it was in the movie “Le Mans”. Race the V12 Ferrari 512 S and 512 M, and flat-12 Porsche 917 LH and relive the greatest sportscar era in history. Then fast-forward to now and fight for victory with four of today’s high-tech endurance heroes―the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the Porsche 919 Hybrid, and two of Audi’s all-dominant racers, the high-grip Audi R18 (Fuji 2016) and high-speed Audi R18 (Le Mans 2016). Yesterday and today’s heroes, on the legendary Classic Circuit de la Sarthe: this is the “Spirit of Le Mans”.
