Bumblebee Storm of Friendship
Bumblebee Storm of Friendship – now on Xbox

The simple, calming joy of exploring a beautiful and gigantic new world from a whole new perspective has returned to Xbox today, as EpiXR’s tiny bee hero takes flight once more working through Bumblebee – Storm of Friendship.

Bumblebee – Storm of Friendship, the next chapter in the relaxing flight adventure series, has launched on Xbox Series X|S. This new journey is available right now for ÂŁ9.99.

A Bee’s Journey Home

Prepare to discover distant places, friendly animals, and amazing habitats as you guide a small bee on an epic quest to find a new home.

In Bumblebee – Storm of Friendship, your quest is to find a beautiful new home. You will play as a tiny bee in a giant environment, moving continuously forward as you are free to fly wherever you want and explore each level to your heart’s desire. Each area you discover is another step on your journey, with a different colour theme, mood, and a small piece of a larger story.

A Journey, Not a Race

This is a game built for relaxation and exploration. After you have played around a little and enjoyed the pure sensation of flying, you’ll start to discover the nearby areas and the secrets they hold.

Your journey is guided by a unique narrative mechanic. At the beginning of each area, a part of a poem is read to you, which talks about the bee’s quest and explains a little about the level that lies ahead.

To progress, you’ll need to collect bright, shining “knowledge shards.” Whenever you collect one, the next will spawn ahead of you, showing you the right way to go. You can also find energy potions to temporarily fly faster and hidden golden flowers that reward thorough exploration.

The Bumblebee Returns

We’re no strangers to this particular little bee’s adventures. This new title follows on from the previous entry in the series, Bumblebee – Search for Happiness.

When that game launched, we reported on how Bumblebee returned in Search for Happiness on Xbox, asking if the flight would be smoother. Now, with Storm of Friendship, players have a brand-new opportunity to join the tiny hero on the next leg of its poetic journey.

Key Features

  • A Relaxing Flight Adventure: Play as a tiny bee on a journey to find a new home.
