Thought you’d exhausted the opportunities on offer in Dovetail Games’ super deep Train Sim World 2? Think again because with the addition of the latest downloadable content you can head off on some all New Journeys – taking in the London Underground and Deutsche Bahn some more.
Present, correct and available to purchase and download from the usual digital stores right now is the Train Sim World 2: New Journeys Expansion. As you’d suspect from a content pack with such a name, this gives the chance for players to expand their journeys ever more, heading back to the Underground, taking in the Deutsche Bahn some more and enjoying that of the CSX as you go.
Priced at £8.79, this is one of the cheaper, more easy to handle, DLC packs for Train Sim World 2, but could well be the one that offers up the most joy. You see, with the base game to hand – and you can pick that up on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC – the New Journeys addition will let you celebrate a half century of the 1972 Mk2 Tube Stock, complete with its original aluminium guise.
Further to that, the DB BR 423 is present, as is the SD40 in CSX blue and grey so no matter where you wish to travel to in the world, and no matter what you want to do whilst you’re there, the New Journeys expansion will sort you out.
