Think of Planet Alpha as a bright and beautiful version of Inside or Limbo – because other than ditching the dark tones of those two games and replacing them by huge amounts of vibrant colour, Planet Alpha plays out very similarly.
A game that sees its tale told via the progress you make, after dropping in on the world of Planet Alpha, you are left to try and survive… and escape. To do this you’ll be tasked with making your way across a ton of brilliant platforming sections, left to solve many a puzzle, as you ultimately try to avoid the pursuit of relentless enemies.
Thankfully you have a rather delightful skill to hand and in order to make your way swiftly and effectively across the strange alien world you’ll need to harness the power of day and night, manipulating the time of day to your advantage.
