We may not be seeing a return of the Bomberman, but with Explosive Jake on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch, we’re probably witnessing the next best thing.

Coming from Sometimes You and complete with a stupidly low price tag for good measure – that of £4.19 – Explosive Jake on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch most certainly looks like it has been hugely inspired by that classic of games, Bomberman.

Taking charge of a little skelly – Jake – it is up to you to make your way out of the dark dungeon he finds himself in, exploding enemies in the process. Explosive Jake just loves a bit of destruction and with 40 levels full of dynamite, explosions, fearsome foes and deadly traps, he’s got a playground rich for reaping.
