Yep you’re reading that right, Fable Legends will be free-to-play on Xbox One and PC!
Already confirmed to be fully cross playable on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC’s, today’s news from the LionHead HQ is that the game will also be completely free-to-play in an effort to make it available to as many players as possible is a great one.
Obviously there will be the inclusion of payable micro transactions but if you wish to play through Fable Legends from start to finish, without spending a single penny, you can. Everything in Legends will be available simply be playing the game as it was originally intended but if you fancy splashing a little cash in order to obtain items that little bit quicker, then you can.
Fable Legends will come with a wide array of Heroes with four available to play for free at any time. These will be rotated on a regular basis so you’ll be able to get to grips with the lot sooner or later but if you find one you really do like, a quick purchase will make him or her yours forever. There will also be a whole host of interesting outfits, face variations and more available to unlock as you progress.
You’ll also be able to purchase the allegiance of a number of creatures and be able to use them in any quest, whilst traps will also be available for you to unlock/buy.
Can’t really complain about free now can we!?
